The guest rooms at Hotel Kasteel Geulzicht are absolutely stunning! They vary in size from 28 to 51 m², and I stayed in a room that felt like my own little slice of paradise. The room was spacious, well-designed, and beautifully decorated. I instantly felt relaxed and comfortable, surrounded by the lovely ambiance of the castle. As a solo traveler, it was the perfect space to unwind and enjoy some personal time.
Personally, I didn't find the bathtub in the bathroom very practical. But hey, we all have different preferences, and I'm sure some people would still enjoy it.

It is not far from the train station, but we made a mistake and took the train to the wrong station in Valkenburg. Our room had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. the service was quite attentive, and breakfast was decent.
The hotel looks outdated and shabby for the price.

The countryside
The overwhelming sense of sadness that such an asset, in the hands of a commercial company, should be so cynically exploited. The internal condition was appalling, the service non existent, the breakfast offering amongst the worst I have experienced. I do not understand why you trade it. I suspect it would need a very large investment to bring it up to international standards, but even with that investment, because of its size, with so few rooms, it could not make money. So instead, in its dire state, you are content to wring undeserved pennies out of the pockets of the guests duped to stay there by a glossy brochure. It is the company I condemn where a culture of uncaring inhospitality is allowed acceptable.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. The location in a real old castle added a touch of charm and elegance to our experience. The service provided by the staff was exceptional - they were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and a spacious sitting area. The free toiletries and electric kettle were a nice added touch. We also enjoyed the flat-screen TV and the comfortable carpeted or parquet floors. The dining breakfast was delicious, and being able to dine outdoors added to the enjoyment of our meals. we were impressed by the quality and attention to detail provided by this venue.

Great castle-like building, absolutely perfect for the Christmas spirit. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the fresh bread was amazing. The location was ideal for visiting the Christmas market in the nearby caves and the friendly staff added a special touch.
The room was small and felt cramped, but the real issue was the uncomfortable bed with awful pillows. The bathroom was outdated and poorly cleaned.
